We met in 2009 while attending Leon High School in Tallahassee, Florida. 

Britt, a junior who played football and baseball, and Adelina a sophomore who was a cheerleader and star (Britt's words) in the choral department. 

The next year we went to both homecoming and prom together.  

 

We grew up together in Tallahassee - both attending Tallahassee Community College

before  transferring to Florida State University (Britt) and George Mason University (Adelina) respectively to finish our undergraduate degrees.

 

Britt followed Adelina up to the D.C. area for Law School attending

George Washington University - just a short drive away from Adelina at George Mason. 

Ruby (world’s cutest dog) joined us in Washington, D.C. in December 2022.

 

After establishing our professional careers in D.C., we moved our little family

of three to New York City at the end of 2023.  Shortly after moving, Adelina was invited to join Broadway’s Wicked National Tour.

 

After visiting her for multiple tour stops, Britt joined her for the entire two month

period in Los Angeles (escaping the bitter New York winter).  On January 17, 2025,

Britt got down on a knee and proposed to Adelina in Palos Verdes

overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

And now, nearly a year later, we’re excited to make it official

with all the people who’ve been important parts of our journey

surrounded by every bit of love we’ve built over the past almost 15 years.
